Carl's grandkids, David, Allie, and Sean...
Carl and his wife, Sharlene, live for the time they spend with their kids and grandkids. Carl's son, David, is a long-haul truck driver based out of Shenandoah, Iowa, the town where he grew up. David's two children, Sean and Allie, live in southwest Iowa and visit Carl in California once ever couple of years. Christina, Carl's daughter, lives with her husband Jeff in Oregon. Tina's son, David, spends a week with Carl a few times each year (whenever his parents are in town).
Much of Carl's art is inspired by his family. The photos section of this website holds lots of photographs of Carl's family and friends and it is updated regularly.
